Yesterday, August 13, the Tashkent Zoo hosted a special tour for our visitors.

Participants had the opportunity to see the zoo from a different perspective — to visit areas that are normally off-limits to guests and get much closer to some of the animals than is possible during a regular visit.

The tour was led by Akmal Kurbanov, Deputy Director of Wild Life Care, the zoo’s management company. He explained how the zoo operates, gave participants a behind-the-scenes look, and shared fascinating facts about our animals and their daily care.
