Avstraliyaning Janubi-Sharqida tarqalgan. Siyrak darahtli va butazorli savannalar, o`tloqlar, yaylovlarda va bog'larda yashaydi. Turli qurilishlar, uylarga uya quradi. Urg`ochisi 3-7 ta tuhum qo`yadi. Tana uzunligi 27-28 sm. 15-20 yil yashaydi.

Обитает на юго-востоке Австралии. Населяет саванны с редкими деревьями и кустарниками, луга, пастбища и фруктовые сады. Гнездится в разного рода постройках, домах. Самка откладывает 3-7 яиц. Длина тела 27-28 см. Живет 15-20 лет.

It inhabits southeastern Australia. It lives in savannas with sparse trees and shrubs, as well as meadows, pastures, and fruit orchards. It nests in various structures and buildings. The female lays 3 – 7 eggs. Its body length is 27 – 28 cm. Its lifespan is 15 – 20 years.
